Brown Collision Repair Center has been leading the Amarillo collision repair industry by being the first collision repair facility to use waterborne paints in 2007. In 2010 we switched to the industry leader in waterborne paints, Akzo Nobel, in 2010.
Waterborne paints are water based paints that are more environmentally friendly. These paints are not solvent based which release harmful Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere. With waterborne paints the VOCs are greatly reduced.
Waterborne paints are also the automotive industry standard. All major car manufacturers use waterborne systems to paint their vehicles. By using the same paints as the manufacturers you get a better repair as the paint will be closer to the original. The waterborne paint system by Akzo Nobel, the Sikkens Autowave, meets the highest standards for car repairs making it the best waterborne paint system.
By using a waterborne system, Brown Collision Repair Center has set the mark for other repair facilities in Amarillo and surrounding areas. We are an industry leader giving our customers the best repairs possible.
